Oriental rugs should be cleaned as soon as they show signs of being soiled or dirty. The frequency of cleaning will depend upon the use and the color of the rug.
You can determine the need for cleaning by performing a couple of different test.
1. Pick up the corner of the rug and kick the back of the rug. If a cloud of dirt flies off then it needs to be cleaned.
2.Rub the rug with your hand in a back and forth motion for about 5 seconds. If the palm of your hand and your fingers are dirty, the rug needs cleaning.
If either of these test prove positive, you need to call Pro-Tech Carpet Cleaning, LLC, LLC. We will bring your rug to our shop where a detailed hand cleaning of the rug will be done in order to bring it back as near as possible to its origional apperance.
