The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a non-profit certifying body for the flooring inspection, floor covering and specialized fabric cleaning, and disaster restoration industry. Organized in 1972, the IICRC currently represents more than 3,500 Certified Firms and more than 33,000 Certified Technicians in 30 countries. The IICRC, with participation from the entire industry, sets standards for inspection, cleaning, and disaster restoration.
We are members of the Xtreme Team, a national group of restoration and cleaning service professionals and business owners dedicated to the advancement of the restoration and cleaning industry.
The Professional Cleaners’ Association (PCA) was founded in 1980 by 60 Bane-Clene professionals who wanted an exclusive organization to represent those with the highest standard of service in the industry. Membership grew to hundreds of companies in the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South America, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
Bane-Clene Systems owners who have achieved certification through Bane-Clene Institute are eligible for membership. Candidates must sign a "Pledge of Integrity" and agree to a uniform code of ethics and conduct. PCA has been in the forefront of the fight against bait and switch advertising. It has lobbied the United States Congress for changes in labor laws that affect the industry. An ongoing program promotes good corporate citizenship in such matters as employee safety and proper wastewater disposal.
