Is
There Any Reason Why…
…you
shouldn’t have the cleanest carpets & upholstery in town?

Pro-Tech Carpet Cleaning, LLC has
been providing high quality, CARPET & UPHOLSTERY and
ORIENTAL RUG CLEANING as well as WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION for
customers in the BOERNE, SAN ANTONIO and SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
areas since 1989.
Using the BANE-CLENE® truck mounted system, a system
recommended by 53 Carpet Mills who produce over 85% of the
carpets made in America, we offer the safest and most thorough
cleaning available. Our cleaning agents are non-toxic and safe
for your home, your family, and the environment.
The BANE-CLENE
SYSTEM®, of cleaning your carpets is more
convenient for you. All of our equipment is truck-mounted and
STAYS outside in the truck. There's no heavy, awkward
equipment inside your home to mar or scratch your walls or
furniture.
Nothing comes inside your home but our thoroughly-trained,
professional operator with a long hose and cleaning tool. All
that you hear is a whisper as the vapor is released and the
rush of air as the cleaning solution is vacuumed from your
carpets. Excess humidity and pollutants are vented outside. We
bring our own pre-softened water. We don't use your water or
disposal facilities to dump waste water at your home or
business. Consequently, there's no messy clean-up after the
carpet is cleaned.
We can clean your furniture and draperies, too. Because most
soil is water soluble, the Bane-Clene® System can frequently be
used to clean upholstered furniture and draperies, too. We
have portable dry-cleaning equipment for those fabrics that
must be dry-cleaned. Upholstered furniture and draperies can
be cleaned in place without disruption of your normal living
routine.
Special cleaning problems? Pro-Tech professionals also have
specially formulated and thoroughly tested treatments for many
special cleaning problems, too............problems such as
rust stains, pet stains or odors, heavy traffic lane soil, or
heavy residue of shampoos and powders left by other cleaning
systems. In addition, we offer special treatments designed to
prevent future problems such as re-soiling.
You can trust our BANE-CLENE® System of cleaning. It's a system
of excellent quality that provides optimum cleaning results on
more types of carpet and with more diverse soil conditions but
with minimum risk of damage. The BANE-CLENE® System is endorsed
by the leading manufacturers in the carpet industry.
Our BANE-CLENE® System of cleaning is......simple, safe, and
gentle, but highly effective. The system cleans with warm
vapor (sometimes called "steam cleaning") created by
heating water mixed with a gentle but effective cleaning agent
to approximately 170 degrees...warm enough to loosen dirt and
soil, but cool enough to avoid any damage caused by shrinkage
or discoloration. The vapor is injected into your carpet at
approximately 140 pounds per square inch...high enough to
penetrate the fibers, but low enough to prevent overwetting.
95% or more of the water and cleaning agent are then
immediately vacuumed out. Your carpets dry faster, stay clean
and fresh longer, with colors brightened and texture restored.
With the BANE-CLENE® System, only the PRO-TECH professional
operator and the cleaning hose enter your home. Pro-Tech
professional cleaners bring their own water and take away all
the dirt and residue. They are quiet and efficient.
Let Pro-Tech Carpet Cleaning, LLC help you have
cleaner, fresher, more beautiful and longer lasting carpet by
having you carpet cleaned the BANE-CLENE® way.
Selecting A Carpet Cleaning Company:
TRUST.....The first consideration in choosing a cleaning firm
is to select one you can trust to come into your home or place
of business. Your past experience or the recommendation of a
friend is best, otherwise shop carefully.
SHOPPING.....Be wary of someone who talks about a
demonstration of their "deep cleaning method" after
giving you a quotation for "regular" cleaning.
Chances are you will pay a premium price, far beyond that
which was quoted on the telephone. While shopping on the
phone, be sure to make notes so you will know what is included
in a service and what may be subject to an extra charge.
ADVERTISING.....Nearly every "bait and switch"
operator either uses telephone solicitation or a mailing piece
that offers a seemingly low price. Avoid these two sales
methods and chances are good that you will not be cheated.
Some newspaper ads have unrealistic prices while others state
a guarantee or warranty must be purchased. Responding to ads
of this nature may expose you to an unethical cleaning
service.
ETHIC and HONESTY.....The cleaning industry has its seamy
side...people who have no insurance, pay no taxes, hire
undesirable people, use cheap ineffecient equipment, use
harsh, and often harmful, chemicals, cheat the consumer and
leave a trail of broken promises, ruined carpets and
furniture.
OUR PURPOSE.....To help you locate someone you can trust to
come into your home or place of business. When hiring a
service company the first time, use the following check list:
DO NOT...
Make an appointment with anyone who calls YOU on the
telephone.
Buy service from someone canvassing your neighborhood.
Call someone who advertises "Any room, $X.XX" Rooms
are different sizes, therefore the charge should be based on
the amount of carpet cleaned.
Pay for extras such as prespotting, deep scrubbing,
dual/triple process, pile setting, color brightening or
pre-vacuuming. These services should be part of a regular
service if they are necessary.
Believe that the use of names such as Dupoint or Scotchgard,
means an affiliation or credibility.
Sign an invoice, agreement or contract until you fully
understand it.
Pay cash. Use a check or credit card so you can stop payment
if the work is unsatisfactory or you believe you have been
overcharged.
Make a check out to an individual, only to a company
name.
Allow anyone to take your credit card off your premises.
Hire a service company which is unprofessional in appearance
or behavior. Apperance of cleaning van and equipment is also
important.
Be afraid to ask questions. Carpet and furniture represent a
large investment. Be cautious.
Allow dangerous stored fuels such as propane or gasoline to be
brought onto your premises.
Be pressured into purchasing unnecessary treatments in
addition to cleaning.
Allow cleaning people to dump dirty water on your lawn, in the
street, or in driveway.
DO...
Call your local Better Business Bureau before scheduling
service.
Require proof of technical certification (IICRC) of the
firm.
Feel free to ask for identification before allowing anyone to
enter your home or place of business.
Confirm the price against your telephone quotation before
allowing the job to be started.
Feel free to ask for references. A qualified service company
should have references available.
Feel free to ask for proof of insurance, certification and
licensing if it is required in your community.
Ask about the disposal of waste water.
Ask if any dangerous chemicals, such as butyle cellosolve,
carbon tetrachloride, or high pH cleaning chemicals will be
used on your premises.
Move your own delicate, breakable objects from table tops,
etc., from the areas to be cleaned before the cleaners
arrive.
Expect reputable cleaners to move reasonable furniture at no
extra charge.
Insist on a scheduled appointment or at least a promise of
morning or afternoon.
Business with a firm that has an intelligent person answering
the telephone.
Hang up on answering machines.
